Ghulam Nabi Azad lauds admin for allowing Muharram procession after 3 decades

27 July: Former CM and DPAP founding president Ghulam Nabi Azad hailed the Government for allowing the Muharram procession after 3 decades.

In a tweet, Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed gratitude to the administration for allowing Muharram processions in Srinagar through the traditional route after 3 decades. Moreover, he urged LG Manoj Sinha to permit Ashura procession as well in Kashmir.

Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed a strong desire that may this step foster unity and strengthen mutual brotherhood.

Azad tweeted, “Expression gratitude to the J&K Govt for allowing the Muharram procession after three decades, I extend my heartfelt request to LG Manoj Sinha to permit Ashura procession as well in Kashmir. Together in prayer may this step foster unity and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood!
