DDC Rajouri reviews implementation of Self-Employment Schemes at DLRC meeting  

RAJOURI, July 27: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to review the implementation of different self-employment schemes of the Government by the line departments and banks.

The meeting was attended by several officials, including CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; DDE, Qadeer Ul Rehman; LDM, Sanjeev Bhasin; Director RSETI, Raman Sharma; CAO, Sohan Singh; CHO, Madan Lal; CAHO Shafqat Mir; AD Fisheries, Munesh Sharma and other concerned officers.

The meeting held detailed discussions on the progress recorded under CD ratio, annual credit plan, saturation of farmers under KCC Crop, KCC Animal Husbandry, and KCC Sheep Husbandry, progress made under special credit facility for street vendors (PM SVANIDHI), PMEGP, joint liability groups, self-help groups, and other schemes.

Reviewing the performance of banks, the meeting  was informed that the district has recorded a 52.75 percent CD ratio and 58 percent  credit flow under Annual Credit Plan (ACP) as of March 2023.

Noting the slow progress under ACP, the DDC urged bankers to take effective measures to address the shortfall.

Reviewing the saturation of farmers under KCC Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry, it was informed that 3450 cases have been disbursed under Animal Husbandry, while 521 cases have been disbursed under KCC sheep Husbandry. Similarly, as many as 984 cases have been sanctioned under NRLM, out of which 983 have been disbursed.

The DDC also reviewed the implementation of self employment schemes including PMEGP-DIC, PMEGP-KVIC, PMEGP-KVIC, JKREGP, NULM, ACC, MUMKIM, besides Ultra High Density Apple Plantation, social security schemes, PMSBY, PMJJBY, Atal Pension Yojana, Aadhar Seeding of DBT accounts, and other schemes.

The DDC urged bankers and line departments to work with added zeal to achieve tangible results. He also asked financing agencies to educate the masses about different loan schemes launched by the Government and motivate them to avail the benefits to raise their socio-economic status.

Stress was also laid on covering all eligible persons under social security schemes and Aadhar seeding of all DBT accounts. The DLRC meeting was a significant step towards ensuring that self-employment schemes are implemented effectively and the benefits reach the deserving citizens of Rajouri. The district administration is committed to boosting the socio-economic status of its citizens and will continue to work towards achieving this goal.
