234 apprehended, 218 vehicles seized & INR 24.83 lakh fine imposed given illegal mining in 2023: Baramulla Police
BARAMULLA, 29 July: In continuation of the war against Illegal Mining, District Police Baramulla has apprehended 234 persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals during 2023.
Additionally, 218 vehicles have been seized & INR 24.83 lakh fine was imposed on accused involved in this context. Police had registered 96 cases for illegal mining.
