Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) organized at Central University of Jammu

JAMMU July 29 : On the completion of three years of National Education Policy (NEP) -2020 a week long programme (24th -29th July 2023) was organized to commemorate “Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam” by the Office of the Dean Student Welfare, Central University of Jammu.

The events consisted of talks on Indian Knowledge System, poster making competitions, quiz on NEP, lectures and seminars. The event was organised in the Patron ship of Prof Sanjeev Jain, Honourable Vice Chancellor, who himself has guided the University in fully adopting the NEP-2020 in letter and Spirit.

Today, an online live session of the Honourable Prime Minister of India on 3rd anniversary of NEP-2020 at Pragati Maidan Delhi was webcasted in the Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium of the University.

Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi ji, emphasised on the power of education and highlighted the greatness of Indian Knowledge system and successful journey of NEP in connecting the students from all spheres to building of India to a Vishwa Guru.

 The Faculty, research scholars, students and staff of the university along with teachers and students from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Central University of Jammu attended and were benefited by the speech of  Hon’ble PM futuristic approach and vision of Education. Event marked the end of the five days of celebrations on NEP at CUJ with the National Anthem.

The webcast of the program was also arranged in Girls’ Hostel by Dr. Shaveta Kohli.

 The event was attended by Dr. Ritu Bakshi, Dean Students’ Welfare, Dr. Vinay Kumar, Assistant dean Students’ Welfare, Dr. Pavinder Singh, proctor, Dr. Ajay Singh, Warden and other prominent  officials from the University.
