PDP holds grievances redressal meeting at village Kalyanpur Marh block, Jammu; Residents express concern over smart meters
Jammu 29th July, 2023: A meeting was organised by senior leader K.K.Sharma under the able guidance of General secretary S.Amrik singh Reen at Village Kalyanpur Marh block, Jammu. The meeting witnessed heavy participation by local workers of PDP and the general public. The residents of Kalyanpur village cited the difficulties which they are facing and everyone emphasized on one common problem of Smart meters. The residents also expressed their grievance as the present administration isn’t paying any interest towards the problems faced by the residents of the village.
The residents also highlighted that they are not allowed to meet any officer for getting their problems addressed and are helpless since their problems are not given any importance by the present administration.
The residents highlighted that widow , old age and handicap pensions are discontinued and at the same time Ration provided is also not adequate and the price rise has further burdened the residents who were dependent on the pensions.
One of the villagers also expressed that the village feels betrayed by the local BJP unit.
The gathering was addressed by General Secretary S.Amrik singh Reen. He assured the residents that PDP will raise the voice of the residents of Khalyanpur village with the same conviction as it raises the voice of each and every resident of J&K.
Sh. Reen also called upon the party workers to participate in the foundation day celebrations and make the event a huge success.

The meeting also witnessed prominent citizens joining PDP, namely Sh.Ajeet Kumar (Bawa Bullu) Ashok Kumar (Retd Capt Army) Raman Verma, Raman Sharma, Pankaj Sharma ML Sharma, Naveen Kishor Sharma along with their supporters.
Party leaders Sh. Vimal Sharma and Sh. Ashok Singh Chib Som Dutt Madan Lal Sharma, Satish Bawa Ram Parshad Sharma & Many Others also graced the occasion.
