Baramulla police arrests four notorious drug smugglers under NDPS Act
Baramulla Police has apprehended four notorious drug smugglers and subsequently booked them under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act.

The culprits, identified as Jaleel Shah of Kanispora, Majeed Sofi of Fatehgarh, Amin Banday of Lari Boniyar, and Mansoor Wani of Kharpora Kunzer, were arrested during a coordinated operation carried out by the police.
The arrest of these drug smugglers came after weeks of intense investigation and surveillance by a dedicated team of officers from the Baramula Police.
The accused are currently held at the Central Jail Kot Balwal in Jammu, awaiting trial. These individuals have been allegedly involved in a well-organized drug trafficking network operating within and around the region, causing significant harm to the local community.
