Illegal Mining in Ganderbal: 17 held; 17 vehicles seized in June & July 2023

GANDERBAL, 3 Aug: Tightening the noose against crime, District Police Ganderbal apprehended 17 persons and seized 17 vehicles in connection with the illegal practice of extraction of Minor Minerals in the district in the months of June and July 2023.

It is learnt that FIRs have been registered & investigations were taken up.
