NHAI agrees to curtail tax at Lakhanpur & Thandi Khui toll plazas in view of damage to Tarnah bridge: Dr Jitendra Singh

JAMMU, 3 August 2023: MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh informed that National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) agreed to curtail toll tax at Lakhanpur and Thandi Khui toll plazas on Jammu-Kathua-Pathankot route in view of damage to Tarnah bridge due to recent incessant rains a few days back.

In a tweet, Dr Jitendra Singh said, “IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ROAD COMMUTERS on Jammu-Kathua-Pathankot route: In response to public demand, request was made by me to the NHAI authorities to allow relaxation on the Toll Tax being charged at Lakhanpur toll plaza and Thandi Khui toll plaza respectively for the commuters who are constrained to travel by alternative route due to the damaged Tarnah Nallah bridge causing disruption of traffic on NH4.”

“The NHAI has agreed to bring about suitable curtailment in the toll tax at these two locations. Yet another indicator of the sensitivity in governance under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi”, the tweet reads.
