Challenging end of Art 370 in SC sinister plan of opposition: Kavinder

NC, its ilk again wanted to snatch rights from people in J&K

No force on Earth can reinstate Article 370

JAMMU Aug 5 Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, asserted that no force on Earth can reinstate Article 370.

Gupta’s proclamation occurred during a commemorative event organized to mark the fourth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 from the erstwhile state. The event, hosted by Karuna Chhetri, President of Gorkha Samaj, witnessed the presence of prominent BJP leaders, including Rekha Mahajan, Anuradha Charak, Vinay Gupta, Rajeev Charak, Vikram Randhawa, Neelam Langeh, Vivek Patyal, Munish, Sunny Sangotra, and Subhash Chand.

Addressing the gathering, Kavinder stated that National Conference (NC), PDP and Congress have prolonged the deprivation of marginalized communities like Valmikis and Gorkhas during their decades-long rule in Jammu and Kashmir. He underscored that these parties are now discontented with the rights extended to Valmikis and Gorkhas by the Modi Government, revealing their agenda to impede progress and prosperity. “The move of opposition to challenge the cessation of Article 370 in the Supreme Court as nothing short of a calculated and sinister maneuver,” he added.

“Leaders like Abdullah, Mufti, and Gandhi have marred the potential of Jammu and Kashmir, leaving a trail of youth unemployment and shattered opportunities,” he said and credited the abrogation of Article 370 for catalyzing positive change, empowering the youth to secure dignified livelihoods after years of uncertainty.

Kavinder commended the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for steering the Union Territory toward peace and prosperity, reinvigorating it as a vibrant center for tourism. He said Jammu and Kashmir has transformed into a thriving hub of tourism and economic activities under the visionary leadership of PM Modi.

In a resounding rebuttal to opposition claims, Kavinder said that the daydreaming of Article 370’s return remains futile. Its abrogation has laid the foundation for a bright future, rendering Jammu and Kashmir integral to the country’s growth and development, he added.
