One – Day Workshop on “Navigate your Software Development Journey” held at GDC Baramulla
BARAMULLA, August 7: The Post-Graduate Department of Computer Sciences at Govt. Degree College (Autonomous), Baramulla, organized a one-day workshop on “Roadmap to Success: Navigate Your Software Development Journey”, here.
Attended by approximately 100 students from diverse academic backgrounds, including BCA/BBA, MCA, and the faculty members of the college, the event aimed to provide students with comprehensive insights and guidance for a successful career in Software Development.
The session featured Er. Firdous Ahmad, an accomplished figure in the field of Software Development, serving as the Founder & CTO of Red Stag Labs, Srinagar, J&K, India, and Senior Software Architect at IDeaS Revenue Solutions, USA. His extensive experience and expertise offered a unique perspective on the ever-evolving landscape of software development.
The session began with a warm welcome from Prof. Shakeel Ahmad Najar, Head of the PG Department of Computer Sciences, who emphasized the value of interdisciplinary learning. The programme was held under the guidance of Prof. Mohammad Farooq Rather, Principal of the college.
Er. Firdous Ahmad’s presentation engaged the audience, sharing his inspiring journey and experiences in the software industry. His insights emphasized the significance of adaptability, innovation, and continuous learning in the path to success.
