MVD Ramban organises health checkup cum awareness camp

RAMBAN, August 07: Motor Vehicles Department, Ramban in coordination with Health Department and Transport Associations organised a Mega Medical Health Checkup Camp cum general awareness Programme for  Drivers at Chanderkote.

  Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam inaugurated the medical camp held with the help of the Health Department and Municipal Council Ramban.

The Medical experts examined more than 200 drivers and conductors by checking their Blood Pressure, Sugar level, eyesight, and other medical conditions.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon the participants to follow traffic rules and abide by Motor Vehicle Act and Rules. He advised them to avoid over speeding, use of mobile phones while driving, wrong overtaking 

Earlier, ARTO Ramban, Samrinder Singh welcomed the participants in the Medical Health Checkup Camp and thanked  Transport Associations for their cooperation in organizing the Medical Health Checkup Camp.
