Cottonseed oil cake futures rise on fresh bets

New Delhi, Aug 10 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 53 to Rs 2,652 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for August delivery traded Rs 53 or 2.04 per cent higher at Rs 2,652 per quintal with an open interest of 37,580 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
