Trees planted to create Amrit Vatika at Lal Draman

Team of officers felicitate family of martyr

DODA, August 10: As a part of the ongoing campaign “Meri Maati Mera Desh”, Department of Forests and Environment, in coordination with Department of Rural department, planted tree saplings at Lal Draman to create a Amrit Vatika on the sprawling meadows.

The Forest department has been designated as Nodal agency for planting 75 saplings in each village of the district in coordination with the Rural Development Department before 15th of August 2023.

Divisional Forest Officer, Ravinder Singh, ACD, Phulail Singh and other staff planted saplings for the creation of Amrit Vatika under Vasudha Vandhan component of the MMMD campaign.

ACP, Ashfaq Khanji and DSWO, Tariq Qazi   also planted saplings of Deodar.

Meanwhile, ACD Phulail Singh and other Officers also paid homage to local martyr Dhyan Chand and felicitated his family members at Lal Draman amongst the huge gathering of locals.
