DDMA Shopian distributes DM equipments/ tools among frontline workers to tackle emergencies effectively

SHOPIAN, JANUARY 10: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Shopian today issued various rescue equipment and tools among frontline functionaries of different departments.

The officials stated that these equipment shall equip workers to tackle emergencies including Snow rescue more effectively.

On the occasion, large wood cutters, Snow Chains, Rubber shows, Safety shoes/Gloves/Helmets, Axes, Spades, Search lights, Blankets etc. were distributed at the function held at Mini Secretariat Shopian.

The tools were provided to Front line workers of departments like KPDCL, Health, Municipal Council, Revenue etc.
