‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ programme celebrated across Anantnag with Enthusiasm
ANANTNAG, August 11: ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ programme was today held with great zeal and enthusiasm at various locations across Anantnag with an aim to promote environmental awareness, community engagement and patriotic spirit.
The event witnessed active participation from residents of all age groups.
District Administration Anantnag with joint efforts of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Wani; Chairman DLSA Anantnag, Tabasum Qadri; Chairman MC Anantnag, Hilal Ahmad Shah and various officers highlighted the significance of preserving our natural resources and nurturing a sense of pride in our nation.
Activities included tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, debate, Cultural programmes, Painting Competition and educational sessions on sustainable living.
Volunteers and participants came together to plant a variety of native trees, contributing to the greening of the region. This initiative was aimed at enhancing the local environment and creating a lasting positive impact on the community.
