Rangoli Competition organised by Jammu University on theme ‘INDIA @ 2047’

JAMMU, August 12: Event & Management Club of P.G. Department of Commerce, University of Jammu organized Rangoli Competition to commemorate the 77th Independence Day on the theme “India @ 2047” on 12th August 2023 in the Department of Commerce. Six teams comprising 3 to 5 students participated in the competition.

The program commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Harleen Kaur, Coordinator for the event. She introduced the day’s theme i.e., ‘India @ 2047’ and impressed upon the young minds to use their creativity and artistic skills to depict their vision of how India might evolve over the next 25 years. The theme encouraged the participants to explore various aspects, such as technological advancements, cultural transformations, environmental sustainability and societal progress. The competition aimed to foster a sense of imagination, innovation and patriotism among
participants.

Participants were judged based on creativity, adherence to the theme, originality and overall presentation. Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, HoD, Commerce, applauded the efforts of the students and distributed the certificates. The faculty members present were Prof. Neetu Andotra, Dr. Tarsem
Lal, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Rupa Mahajan, Dr. Vishal Gupta, Dr. Sumeet Kour, Dr. Deepti Abrol.
