Amrit Vatikas created in Nowshera Forest Division under “Vasuda Vandan”

RAJOURI, August 12: Sunderbani Forest Range, in continuation of the “Meri Maati Mera Desh”campaign is establishing several Amrit Vatikas under “Vasuda Vandan ”.

An Amrit Vatika was created at Radha Krishan Mandir Prat in Dharamsal Block.

After taking Panch Pran Pledge 75 saplings of indigenous plants were planted with active participation of PRI members, school children and local people of panchayat Prat. The staff of RDD and other departments also participated in the drive conducted under the Banner of JK Green Drive.

 As per Range Officer Lamberi/Sunderbani,  Sudesh Kumar, as many as  25  Amrit Vatikas have been created in different panchayats of Sunderbani forest Range till  August 12 and all other panchayats shall be covered upto 15th of August.

The whole programme was conducted under close supervision of Divisional Forest officer, Nowshera  Satyendra Maurya and Conservator of Forests, West circle Rajouri   Vivek Verma.
