DC Kishtwar tours Bounjwah area; listens to people’s grievances, issues
KISHTWAR, January 10: District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav today conducted a tour of Panchayat Tippri of Block Bounjwah and listened to the grievances, issues of the public of the said Panchayat.
The DDC listened to the issues projected by Sarpanches and panches besides other villagers. They demanded up-gradation of local infrastructure including road connectivity, electricity supply in the left out villages, additional Winter Tuition centres for children in some far flung schools, up-gradation of High school Tippri to Higher secondary level, Jobs under MGNREGA, availability of doctors in their respective PHCs etc.
The DDC listened to all grievances patiently and resolved most of them in consultation with the concerned officers present during the tour.
The DDC directed the concerned officer to complete all pending works in a time bound period and in the most synergistic way to provide benefit to the public in time.
He also urged people and PRIs to participate in the ongoing Panchayat Electoral Roll Revision-2023 so that the registration of new and left out electors is done effectively. He informed the public that 01-01-2023 is the qualifying age to become a new electorate.
Earlier, Officers and field functionaries of various departments also spoke about their departmental schemes including online services, Mission Youth Schemes, during the programme and urged people to come forward and avail these schemes.
An Age Certificate issuance Camp was also organised by the Social welfare Department and certificates were issued to the prospective Pensioners.
En-route, the DDC also listened to a number of grievances put forth by the villagers, which included road connectivity, water and power supply, up-gradation of health and education facilities in the area which were resolved successfully in collaboration with concerned officers.
The District and sectoral officers who attended the tour programme were District Panchayat Officer Sunil Bhutyal, DSWO Zubair Ahmed, EX EN PDD, Officers of PMGSY Besides Tehsildar, Officer from PHE, Health and Education department.
