2 women, man apprehended for theft in Srinagar, stolen property recovered

SRINAGAR, 14 Aug: In a major breakthrough, 2 women and a man were arrested by Srinagar Police in connection with theft on Monday.

As per prima-facie, the three accused have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Dewa of Palpora Noorbagh, Fatima alias Buri of Friestabal Pampore and Asia Rasool of Hari Singh High Street.

Reports suggest, stolen property including four gold rings, three gold chains, INR 2,60,000 cash has been recovered from their possession.

Police has registered case under the relevant section of law.
