Central University Jammu Celebrates 77th Independence Day

15th Aug 2023: Central University of Jammu celebrated 77th Independence Day on 15 August 2023. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Professor Sanjeev Jain hoisted the national flag followed up by singing the national anthem and with this Independence Day events started.

Prof. jain addressed the august gathering. He highlighted university’s achievements in the field of teaching, research, startups and placements to faculty, staff, students and research scholars and security personnel. He emphasised on how the meaning of freedom is to be best understood in positive and progressive way. Following that, a grand celebration was organised in the university’s Bregadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium with patriotic songs and other items by the students of NCC wing, Central University of Jammu.
