UP: I-Day celebrated in Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi complex, labourers hoist tricolour

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 15 (ANI): By hoisting the tricolour and distributing sweets, the labourers and engineers at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya on Tuesday celebrated the 77th Independence Day with charm.

Engineers of Karyadai Sanstha and employees of Ram Janmabhoomi hoisted the tricolour in the temple of Lord Ramlala under construction while the labourers engaged in the construction of the Ram temple chanted Mother India.

Ram Mandir was filled with high energy and upholding the spirit of patriotism, the tricolour was hoisted in the temporary temple.

The labourers also shared greetings and distributed sweets after offering ‘Bhog’ to Ram Lala on the occasion.

Earlier today, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the Tiranga at his residence in Lucknow.

In his speech after the ceremony, CM Yogi said that we are witnessing a “new India” today adding that we have given this land a status of a mother.

“On the occasion of Independence Day, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath says, “We are witnessing a new India today. Our culture has always been of ‘Mata Bhoomi Putra Hum Pratigya’. We have never considered this land a piece of earth but we have given it a status of a mother…,” he said.
