Two-day workshop ‘Main Apni Favourite Hoon’ celebrating identity of women concludes in Scottish Hall, Jammu
JAMMU, 18 Aug: A two-day workshop was held at the historic and vintage “Scottish Hall” a space for Performing arts, Literary and Educational activities at Residency Road, Jammu.
It was a two-day workshop which was concluded today. It was a unique and pioneering collaboration, especially in Jammu between Pooja Sharma (Art Therapy Practitioner, NLP Practitioner/Life coach and Artist) and Delight William Kler (Applied theatre Practioner, Actor, Director D-Drama Academy)
This workshop was titled “Main Apni Favourite Hoon” and was all about women celebrating their identities through applied theatre, and creative expression through art, creating a joyful platform for an energetic exploration and exchange of ideas.
Accomplished women of all ages and interests participated each contributing their unique voice to this experience, making it a meaningful one.
Both facilitators are humbled by the overwhelming feedback and appreciation they received from everyone present, realising the potential and space for more such workshops with applied art.
Pooja and Delight, travel where their work and training takes them.
They hope, through their chosen professional modalities, to create awareness, about what a powerful tool Applied Art is (theatre and visual Art respectively) in creating self-awareness and helping children and adults realise their full potential, thereby transforming lives.
