District administration conducts Anti-Encroachment Drive in Kishtwar Town

KISHTWAR, JANUARY 11: District administration Kishtwar today conducted anti-encroachment drive in town area Malipeth along Lachmi Chand road and dismantled the encroachments raised along the road.

The drive was conducted on instructions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav- and under the guidance of Tehsildar, Umar Muneeb.

The drive was conducted by Naib Tehsildar Shoaib Parvez along with patwar Halqa Kishtwar, JE, R&B and other officials. The drive was conducted after receiving a number of complaints from the residents of that area and the R&B department. It was reported that some inhabitants have encroached this road and lanes causing congestion and creating hurdles in smooth flow of traffic and other movements.

During the drive, the stated road was made through successfully. Moreover, a number of by-lanes were also freed from encroachments and opened for the general public.

Furthermore, the District Administration Kishtwar appealed to all the citizens not to encroach upon main roads, footpaths, pavements as the same cause inconvenience to the general public and pedestrians.
