DC inspects progress on Chenani Sudhmahadev NH-244 road, Yoga Centre in Mantalai

Directs executing agencies to expedite pace of work

UDHAMPUR, September 02:- Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Saloni Rai today  conducted an extensive tour of Mantalai, where she inspected the ongoing work on the Chenani Sudhmahadev NH-244 road and the International Yoga Centre.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner closely examined the progress of the 16-kilometer Chenani-Sudhmahadev NH-244 Road, being constructed by NHIDCL. She directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work on the prestigious road project and adhere to the specified timeline for completion.

Additionally, she emphasized the importance of daily monitoring and fortnightly review to ensure smooth and timely completion of work. The DC added that roads and bridges are the backbone of an area as good roads automatically boost the local economy.

In Mantalai, the DC also reviewed the status of the International Yoga Centre, an important development in the district of Udhampur.
