BJP will be wiped out in Jammu Region – Bhalla

Miran Sahib, Sept 4- JKPCC President Shri Vikar Rasool Wani today said that winds of change are blowing in Jammu and Kashmir  as  there  is large scale resentment against the BJP in Jammu region too, owing to the failures, arrogance of power and unfulfilled promises by the BJP with the people , especially youth.

Addressing a large gathering alongwith working president Raman Bhalla and other senior party  leaders here today to welcome a number of BJP leaders, including over the dozen Sarpanchs & 100 Panchs led by BDC Chairman Daleep Kumar into the party, Shri Wani said that more and more people  from  different parties including BJP strengthens our claim that people want change and look towards congress as a secular democratic alternative at the Centre and in J&K.

A large number of prominent BJP leaders, Sarpanchs & Panchs along with their supporters joined the congress party amidst host of senior cong leaders including Shri Ravinder Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney,  Hari Singh Chib, TS Bajwa, Pawan Raina, Shashi Sharma, T S Tony, Rajinder Singh Nathu, Bhushan Dogra, Amrit Bali, Gurdarshan Singh, Ch. Hussain Ali Waffa,  Bhupinder Singh Jamwal, Charanjit Bhagat, Mohan Choudhary, Aijab Motton , Sham Lal Mehra, Gurmit Singh, Jatin K Raina, Sarban Choudhary, Sham Lal Bhagat, Pawan Kumar, Jatinder Bhagat, Michael Wazir, B.S. Wazir & others in an impressive gathering organized by Daleep Kumar coordinated by Rajinder Singh Nathu. 

Welcoming the new entrants, Shri Vikar Rasool Wani took a dig at BJP by stating that the coming events cast their shadows before. There is unrest amongst the cadres of BJP now as they see their defeat imminent, especially after coming together of all major opposition parties under INDIA alliance. He said that BJP led NDA had secured  37% percent votes while  parties under the INDIA alliance collectively secured  around 63% votes in 2019 elections,  which indicate the coming results in the next elections .

He said that the resentment against BJP is writ large amongst people and its  graph has gone down to a great extent, at present , in view of  the jumla’s and unfulfilled promises, large scale loot of the resources to the near and dear ones at the cost of common tax payers while the common  people  are burdened with large number of taxes leading to unprecedented  price escalation .  The people cries for concession  are not being heard by the arrogant  Govt. and BJP  even on small issues like removing of toll tax at Sarore and smart meters upon which  the  entire Jammu observed  complete Bandh  and  massive protests.

Wani said that arrogance of power in the  BJP is because of the reason that it believes that it will polarize the situation in the name of religion during elections  and manage power but now the people have  realized  that instead of  delivering on the promises  of two crore jobs annually  bringing black money controlling price rise and  reducing taxes, BJP is  harping on divisions and polarizations for winning elections. People  will throw BJP out of power both at Centre and in J&K as and when elections are held.

Addressing then gathering Working President Shri Raman Bhalla  said that BJP has deceived  each and every section by the  fake promises  and unprecedented taxes  besides  record unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir. The people have seen the real face of the BJP and their leadership and  want to bring change  but BJP Govt. did not hold  elections for more than five years, leaving the people to face the unaccountable and inaccessible  bureaucrats  who are unwilling to  adopt  sympathetic approach to the common man.

Bhalla said that the bureaucratic regime in J&K  is  indifferent to the genuine needs of the common people who  are suffering a lot but there is no one to listen to their voice  while the BJP leaders   are beating the drums of  achievements of Modi Governments, instead of coming to the rescue of the suffering masses. He said that  people  hold peaceful protests but in return they are booked and their demands ignored.

Bhalla said that people are eagerly waiting  to teach BJP a lesson through ballot but BJP is deliberately delaying the assembly elections  and denying the people  from basic democratic rights in order to  avoid defeat.  The large number of joining into the congress party from other parties including BJP indicates  a wave in favour of congress party which is the only secular and democratic alternative  with the people .

Earlier a rousing reception was accorded  to the  PCC leadership by a large gathering in the Sun City farms in Miran Sahib who expressed their faith in the congress party and its leadership and  pledged to  defeat BJP in the  coming elections. Several other senior leaders and local congress functionaries  addressed the gathering and  said that BJP stands fully exposed  for its anti people, anti poor and anti youth policies  and congress will emerge a strong force in the coming elections .
