Jammu University in collaboration with Narayana Hosptial held a Medical Camp.  

Jammu, September 15: In a benevolent endeavor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Super Specialty Hospital   Narayana, in collaboration with the Health Centre, University of Jammu, organized a remarkable and much needed free medical camp for the benefit of Students, Employees, and their families. Dr. Bhanu Partap Singh, a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana and his team examinedmore than 80 patients.

During the medical camp, the patients received valuable education on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and were advised to incorporate fat-free and high-potassium foods like papaya, oranges, and bananas into their diet. Additionally, the participants were also screened for Diabetes and Hypertension with a focus on early detection and prevention of life style diseases .

The successful execution of this free medical camp was made possible under the guidance and support of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof Umesh Rai, Registrar, Prof Rahul Gupta, University of Jammu and the Convener, Prof Seema Langer University Health Centre

Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Medical Officer, University Health Centre, expressed his gratitude to Dr Bhanu Partap Singh, Sr. Consultant and his Management team for providing free medical services to all the stakeholders of University of Jammu. Dr Bhushan also commended Dr. Gautam Sharma, a Dental Surgeon (MDS) and Dr. Saloni Mahajan, Medical Officer for their instrumental roles in the camp’s success. He also appreciates the contributions of Sr. Pharmacist Pawan Singh, Himanshu, and the dedicated supporting staff of Health Centre who played a crucial role in ensuring smooth organization of this camp
