DC reviews working of Cooperative Department in Rajouri District

RAJOURI, September 18: To devise a vibrant action plan for the efficiency and impact of cooperative initiatives in the district, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today led a detailed review of the functioning of the Department.

The review encompassed several vital aspects, including the establishment of new cooperative societies, the recovery of Non-Performing Asset (NPA) amounts from Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), and a thorough assessment of the implementation of various initiatives under the “Sehkar se Samriddhi” scheme.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for stakeholders to discuss strategies for the formation and strengthening of new cooperative societies. The focus was on creating a robust network of cooperatives that could foster economic growth, self-sufficiency, and equitable development within the district.
