Students of GDC Sunderbani take Swachhta Pledge
JAMMU, September 18: In continuation to Gandhi Jayanti celebration, NSS unit Government Degree College Sunderbani, in collaboration with Road Safety club of the College, organized Swachhta Pledge to spread awareness and to reaffirm the need for a mass movement to adopt better sanitation and hygiene practices.
Students and staff of the college took part in the pledge. The program was organized under the supervision of Dr. Mohd Azam and he appreciated the efforts of the members of all the committees for organizing the programme. Such programs sensitize masses and develop interest among the masses for making their locality neat and clean. Thus clean India would be the best tribute India can pay to Mahatma Gandhi.
The programme was coordinated by Sheraz Kousser NSS PO, Prof. Beant Singh convenor Road Safety Club and Prof. Sham Lal.
