JAMMU 21 Sep : It is a alarming situation that fresh cases of dengue are reported on daily basis from various parts of Jammu and Kashmir. All the available services should be pressed in order to control the rise and provide relief to the affected people in Jammu and Kashmir.
Expressing grave concern over the reports about rise in dengue cases, Munish Sharma, former General Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir BJP, appealed the LG administration to direct the health department to understand the gravity of the situation and take immediate steps to ensure that dengue is controlled at the earliest.
Munish Sharma said that the dengue cases are not only reported in one area or district but it has spread in different areas and it becomes necessary to post adequate number of doctors and para medical staff in all the hospitals and dispesaries at district, sub district levels in urban and rural areas. The government should also make available the required infrastructure as well so that the people detected with dengue are in a position to get treatment at easily accessible centres.
At the same time, Munish Sharma, also stressed upon the people to ensure that there is no stagnation of water in and around their houses as mosquitoes causing dengue breed in the stagnant water.
