IIT Jammu, SIBA organise Multispeciality Health Camp on Jagti Campus
JAMMU, September 22: In a collaborative effort, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu joined hands with SIBA to host a Free Multispeciality Health Checkup Camp on the serene Jagti Campus of IIT Jammu.
The event witnessed the unwavering support and participation of renowned regional healthcare establishments, including Amandeep Hospital, Dr Acharaya, Sharp Sight Eye Hospital, Raksha Kidney Centre, Green Court Hospital and IVF Care, Sehora Dental College. Their collective dedication to promoting community health was evident throughout the event.
The multispeciality health camp was inaugurated by Prof Vijayan Pallippattu, Dean Administration of IIT Jammu, who was joined by Dr Karunika Sharma, Medical Officer IIT Jammu, adding an aura of prestige to the event.
One of the standout features of this health camp was the provision of free medicines to attendees, prescribed by the visiting doctors. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to avail themselves of complimentary basic tests for blood sugar, blood pressure, eye, et al. ensuring that even the most fundamental health concerns were addressed.
This collaborative effort between IIT Jammu and SIBA is a testament to their commitment to the well-being of the community they serve. The event was a resounding success, with numerous attendees benefiting from the expertise of leading medical professionals and the generosity of the participating healthcare institutions.
