Entrepreneurship awareness programme organized at Mahore
REASI, September 22: An awareness programme for unemployed youth was organized by MSME Development and Facilitation Office (DFO) Jammu at Mahore in District Reasi.
Officers from MSME DFO Jammu gave a detailed presentation about the schemes and activities for the development of MSME sector.
Ajay Kumar, the Officer from KVIB gave a detailed presentation on the schemes implemented by KVIB including PMEGP. He informed that under the scheme projects up to Rs. 50 Lakh can be covered with 30% subsidy in rural areas.
Adesh Singh, Officer from District Industries Centre, Reasi explained in detail the different schemes offered under MSME sector and implemented by the Government of J&K.
Sajad Ahmed Baig, officer from State Bank of India exposed the participants about various credit schemes of the bank.
Mujahid Hussain Shah SDM Mahore spoke about the role of district authorities in the development of the MSME sector. He requested MSME DFO, Jammu to organize more such programmes in Mahore. He assured all help from his office for those who come forward with a viable project.
More than 150 unemployed youth attended and benefitted from the programme. Question and answer session was held after the lectures to the fullest satisfaction of the participants.
The programme was coordinated by Vinu Je Koul of MSME DFO Jammu and Vote of thanks was delivered by Sunil Dang, Assistant Director MSME DFO Jammu.
