KATHUA September 23: 40 faculty members of Tiny Scholars School,Kathua participated in a workshop on Putting Bloom’s Taxonomy to Work. The workshop, conducted & facilitated by Mrs. Babita Aggarwal (Deputy Product Manager, Punjab) and Mr. Rahul Sharma (Assistant Territory Manager) offered a platform for faculty members to learn practical tips on how to integrate Bloom’s Taxonomy into their teaching.
The workshop begun with the Lamp lightening that was enlightened by the Guest of honours and our Respected Managing Director Mrs Manisha Gupta and Principal Mrs Reena Khajuria.
One Day Training was conducted with four-hour rigorous training workshop for the teachers on Bloom’s Taxonomy and the different stages of thinking. 2 Guest speakers were invited to provide the training.
Speaker defined the Taxonomy as an attempt to classify forms and levels of learning. Having explained the three domains of learning i.e. Cognitive, Affective and Psycho Motor Domain, she indulged the teachers in group learning and independent learning tasks wherein teachers followed the advanced organiser and flipped the classroom to identify effective teaching strategies.
Several videos were also shown to the teachers to questions to be asked in classroom according to the Bloom’s Taxonomy.
