BJP pays tributes to Pt Deendayal on his birth anniversary
JAMMU, September 25: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, led by its senior leaders paid tributes to great ideologue, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji on his birth anniversary in various programmes held across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
In a programme held at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, BJP leaders paid floral tributes.
BJP NEM Priya Sethi said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, born on September 25, 1916, and leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, was a profound philosopher. He has been the source of ideological guidance and moral inspiration for the BJP since its inception. His views on integral Humanism and Antodaya are reflected in every welfare scheme of the Modi government, which aims to empower every section, socially- economically and politically.
BJP Vice President Anuradha Charak said that right from the days of childhood, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya faced many difficulties but did not deviate from his mission of serving the nation and its people. His focus was to strengthen the social fabric, induce a sense of patriotism and treat everyone equally.
Former MLC Choudhary Vikram Randhawa said that no one is born to live forever on this earth but there are a few such noble souls like Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji, who always live in the hearts of the people and become role models for others.
BJP Secretary Arvind Gupta said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji, led a simple life in the service of the nation and such personalities are very rare, adding that on this day, each one of us should take pledge to educate the people about the nationalist ideology and pro-masses principles of Pandit ji.
BJP Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, DDC Suresh Sharma, Spokesperson Rajni Sethi, former VC Daljit Singh Chib, former VC Balbir Ram Rattan, OBC Morcha President Sunil Prajapati, Social Media Incharge Ankit Gupta and others also paid their tributes.
