Sat holds public darbar at BJP headquarter
Calling for the active role of electricity department in resolving public concerns regarding bills, Sat Sharma (CA), Jammu and Kashmir BJP former President and former Minister, said that instead of waiting out for the public to reach them, the concerned officials must actively take remedial and educatory measures to rule out all apprehensions of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has taken every possible measure to weed out the irregularities in the public services, while ensuring easy approach of public to the departments for their development, and other issues”, said Sat Sharma.
Sharma laid impetus on the need of public offices to be friendly to the distressed public and strengthen the hands of Modi government who has ensured that our nation is among the most developed while strengthening the grass-root level democracy by reaching out to the last person in the queue.
Sat Sharma stated this, while he, accompanied by BJP SC Morcha Seh-Prabhari & JMC Councillor Jeet Angral and Maha Jana Sampark Abhiyaan Department Incharge Ankush Gupta was listening to a large number of people, who had reached the party office with their grievances.
Various deputations and individuals from Anand Nagar, Talab Tillo, Gole Gujaral, Janipur, Krishna Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Govind Nagar, Rehari, Beli Charana, Bakshi Nagar, Muthi, Raghunath Pura, New Plot, shared their grievances with the BJP leaders, which were related to electricity bills, street lights, water supply, installation of gratings, sanitation, upgradation of lane/drain, desilting of nallah, pension cases, etc. All the grievances were taken up with the senior officials of the concerned departments for early disposal.
Speaking on the positive response of the public regarding public darbar by senior party leaders, Sat Sharma expressed satisfaction and joy stating that more than three hundred people individually and in the form of depuations visited the BJP office with their issues. While many of their issues were resolved on the spot, many other issues were telephonically and in the form of recommendations, were conveyed to the concerned department officials.
Jeet Angral and Ankush Gupta managed the proceedings of the public darbar and diarized the issues presented by the visitors.
