Shanti Yatra flagged off from Vijaypur

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 30: “SHANTI YATRA” which reached Government Hr. Sec. School Vijaypur three days back, was flagged off today by Chief Education Officer Samba and the host school Principal in presence of students & staff.

Celebrating 154th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, the  “SHANTI YATRA” was flagged off from GHS Purani Poonch on September 9, 2023 .

The “SHANTI CHINAH” was handed over to Principal Govt. Hr. Sec. School Jakh at Jakh. Shanti Yatra was escorted by a Police team led by SHO Vijaypur. A Stage show was also performed at Govt. Hr. Sec. School Vijaypur where a skit and group song was displayed by the students of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Vijaypur.

The Principal and Chief Education Officer offered flowers and garland to the Shanti Chinah and on the photograph of Mahatma Gandhi Ji. Students chanted “Gandhi Ji Amar Rahey” and “Gandhi Ji Ke Do Updesh Satya and Ahinsa.
