Amar Singh College to organise Mega SWACHANJALI as tribute to Gandhiji on  1st October

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 30: Amar Singh College is participating in a massive cleanliness drive on 1st October, 2023, themed “Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” in line with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister. 

The initiative is aimed at fostering the values of community service and nation building. A Shramadaan of one hour will be conducted with an aim to make a valuable contribution to our nation in terms of cleanliness of our surroundings.

Amar Singh College in synch with the spirit of the nation to build ‘Garbage Free India’ has planned a Plogathon, at 10:00 am in the morning from Mehjoor Nagar footbridge to Amar Singh College. The idea is to jog along the flood channel and pick up the litter from the embankment of the water body for disposing it off in an environment friendly manner. 

In this march for Swacha Bharat, Director Colleges UT of J&K will be joining the plogathon.

The members from the Teaching faculty, Non-Teaching staff, students and parents feel enthusiastic to participate in the event. The institution also extends an open invitation to everyone to join for this noble cause.
