Final Phase of Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link nears completion with longest tunnel ready: Dr Jitendra Singh
Jammu & Kashmir Oct 07: In a significant step forward for the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link Project, the final phase from Banihal to Katra, spanning a total of 111 kilometers, is now entering its last stage of completion. The project’s centrepiece, Tunnel T-50, currently the longest tunnel at a staggering 12.77 kilometers, is on the verge of being ready for operations.
MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh took to twitter and posted, ” The 111-km-long final phase of USBRL #Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link Project from #Banihal–#Katra has entered last leg of completion with Tunnel T-50 the longest at 12.77 km getting ready.”
