Annual Skill Convocation Ceremony “Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh” held at Govt ITI Udhampur

 UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 12: The Annual Skill Convocation Ceremony, “Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh,” was held at the Government Industrial Training Institute Udhampur.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana performed by the institute’s trainees.

The Superintendent of ITI Udhampur,  Ravinder Singh Bhatti, delivered a warm welcome address, extending his congratulations to the accomplished trainees and introducing the esteemed guest of the day. He provided an overview of the institute’s regular training courses, spanning from 6 months to 2 years, along with short-term skill courses supervised by higher authorities.

 Furthermore, he presented an overview of the Institute’s performance during the year 2022-23, highlighting their remarkable achievement of a 93% pass rate in NCVT Trades and a perfect 100% pass rate in CITS (Crafts Instructor Training Scheme).

While speaking on the occasion, the chief guest commended the trainees for their remarkable achievements and personally distributed certificates to those in NCVT Trades, CITS, and SANKALP programs. He wished them a bright and prosperous future and encouraged them to take advantage of government schemes to establish their own ventures, nurturing future entrepreneurs.

 The Chief Guest also praised the Institute for its commitment to imparting the latest skills in various trades, thus contributing to the creation of a skilled workforce in the district.

In a gesture of gratitude, Superintendent ITI Udhampur presented a memento to the honorable Chief Guest, and the Convocation concluded with best wishes for the graduating trainees as they embark on their promising journeys.
