BJP holds social media deptt meeting

BJP National Executive Member, Headquarter Incharge & former minister Priya Sethi, chaired a meeting of BJP Social Media department as its Prabhari at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, along with social media department Incharge Ankit Gupta.

This meeting was attended by social Media teams of Jammu North, Jammu South and Border District of the BJP. It was held in connection with the ongoing Shankhnaad campaign to register social media volunteers in various districts of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, like other states and UTs.

Priya Sethi, while addressing the meeting, said that the party social Media Department at the national level has already launched the Shankhnaad campaign. Keeping the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections in mind and the potential and significance of the social media, social media volunteers are being registered to strengthen its social media machinery from state to Mandal level and expand it on ground social media network. She said that under the Shankhnaad campaign, state and District level Social Media workshops and state level social media meetings are going on regularly. She said that in this regard, each district social media department has to get itself updated by attending workshops and ensure that social media is further strengthened in every district.  

Ankit Gupta said that social media is an effective and strong tool in the modern era to reach the masses and educate them about what is happening around them and in the world in different fields. He said that social media departments at district levels need to follow every instruction for smooth functioning and result oriented work. He expressed hope that the volunteers will prove to be an asset for the party and help in reaching every area and section.
