Charak starts drain work in Narwal, appeals people to make surrounding clean

JAMMU January 17: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and In-charge Jammu District Kr. Rajeev Charak on Tuesday kick start the construction work of Deep Nallah (Big Deep Drain) at Chacha Chowk Narwal Bala Jammu.

The work has been estimated at cost of 5 lakhs and it has been executed by Public Works Department.

The condition of drain is very dilapidated since long and people of the area demanding repair of said work, after execution the people will have sigh of relief.

As per the details people are facing difficulties since long due to poor condition of roads and the vehicle as well as people especially old persons and school going children were facing lot of problems while passing through this busy road.

Speaking on the occasion, Kr. Rajeev Charak said that present regime is committed to make people’s daily lives better and has investing a lot to upgrade civil amenities. He said lot of funds have been sent to improve roads and drains.

Charak also appealed local population to make their surroundings neat and clean and don’t thrown garbage and plastic in the drains and streets.

He said that JMC has been running daily garbage collection vans and appealed people to utilise the service.
