Doda Admin conducts training for Prabhari Officers  

DODA, November 07: Doda Administration is all set to begin Vth edition of Back to Village (B2V) in the district- the flagship public outreach programme, for which a virtual training of the Prabhari Officers was held today, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner  Harvinder Singh.

Pran Singh, Additional District Development Commissioner, along with CPO Suresh Kumar, ACD Doda Phulail Singh, ACP Doda Ashfaq Khanji, and other master trainers, imparted necessary instructions and directions to the Prabhari Officers, for better coordination and success of the programme.

The Prabhari Officers were asked to review the implementation of previous and current year deliverables in the panchayats, prepare next year Gram Panchayat Development Programme, focus on improving e-services penetration, and impart general awareness of the government schemes. They have been impressed upon to identify beneficiaries, especially youth and women, for availing skill development and self-employment schemes. Day wise activities were discussed in detail, and officers have been asked to take extra effort in making the programme a grand success.

The Back to Village (B2V) Programme is a flagship public outreach, participation, and feedback programme of the UT Government. During the programme, the Prabhari Officers visit their respective panchayats, stay there for a specific period to interact and obtain feedback from the grass-roots so as to tailor Government efforts in improving the delivery of village-specific services. The B2V Programme is aimed at involving the people and government officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development in rural areas.

The previous 4 editions of the B2V programme have helped in collating the requirements of the villages, prioritizing works of public importance and helped Government in ensuring last mile delivery of various Government services besides spreading awareness about various services and initiatives of the Government.
