DC Reasi chairs Mega Block Diwas at Sub-Division Mahore
REASI, November 08: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Reasi, Vishesh Paul Mahajan on Wednesday chaired the proceedings of Mega Block Diwas at Sub-Division Headquarters Mahore.
Among others, DDC Vice Chairperson, Sajra Qadir; DDC Mahore A, Jenab Israel; BDC Mahore, Shahida Parveen; BDC Chassana, Mohd. Razaq; District Officers, Engineers, Sectoral Officers, Sub Division level officers, Sarpanches, Panches and a large number of local residents of different villages of Mahore, Chassana and Gulabgarh attended the public out-reach programme.
At the outset, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan was welcomed in a traditional way with ‘Tikka’ followed by the escort of NCC cadets.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi inspected stalls of different departments and was acquainted with the schemes and programmes of various departments being implemented in this area.
On the occasion, PRIs and local residents of different villages of Sub- Division Mahore apprised the Deputy Commissioner about their wide range of demands. The public as well as PRIs primarily raised the issue of road connectivity, healthcare facilities and electrification of villages during winter months.
The public of Mahore expressed gratitude to the DC and sought his keen intervention in accelerating the development of the area. He was praised for his proactive approach which was evident from the selection of Sub-Division Mahore for his maiden Block Diwas in the District Reasi.
After giving patient hearing to the public and PRIs, the Deputy Commissioner assured that all their genuine demands shall be looked into on priority.
He said that all works of UT Capex and District Capex shall be completed within the stipulated time frame.
The Deputy Commissioner said that administration is making every effort so that Mahore Sub division looks lively this winter and difficulties of the people are minimised.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all employees to be sincere towards their duties and monitoring will be keen and regular in both offline and online mode. He further assured people that their concerns have reached the concerned authorities and will be resolved on priority.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner assured the local populace of resolving all their genuine demands.
He urged the local residents, PRIs and Civil Society to co-operate with law enforcing agencies to put a complete check on drug menace so that lives of youth are saved from harmful effects of drugs.
Block Diwas at Mahore had a huge response from local population and PRIs who appreciated the Deputy Commissioner for bringing District administration on their door steps.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi was accompanied by ACD Reasi, ACP Reasi, SDM Dharmari, CEO Reasi and other officers of various departments.
