Ahmadiyya Muslim Community delegation meets Kavinder, discuss patriotism & unity
JAMMU, November 09: A distinguished delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, led by Nasir Iqbal, President of Jamaat Ahmadiyya Jammu, today met Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.
The delegation included notable members such as Nematullah Nawaz, Deputy Incharge of the Noorul Islam Department Qadian, Husam Ahmed, Editor of Lightofislam.in, Nasir Iqbal Kagazghar, President of Jamaat Ahmadiyya Jammu, Arif Ahmed Naik, a Missionary, and Saeed Ahmed Dar, Outreach Coordinator.
Emphasizing the teachings of the Holy Prophet (sa), Nematullah Nawaz highlighted that “Love for one’s nation is a part of faith.” He elaborated that sincere patriotism is not just encouraged but required in Islam, and to love God and follow Islam inherently means to love one’s nation.
The delegation also presented a book “World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace,” to Kavinder Gupta symbolizing the community’s commitment to global harmony and understanding.
Kavinder Gupta commended the delegation, describing Nasir Iqbal as a “soul of remarkable character,” known for his humility and unwavering honesty. He acknowledged the significant role of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in fostering a spirit of unity and patriotism.
The meeting concluded with a hopeful note on the continued collaboration for peace and the strengthening of national solidarity.
