DC ensures smooth operationalization of additional facility 

RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 11: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today visited Government Medical College and Associated Hospital (GMC&AH) to ensure smooth operation of the newly constructed 180-bedded additional building there.

The newly constructed building is set to address the growing healthcare needs of the community, with two vital departments, Ophthalmology and Radiation Oncology, now operational within its premises. The strategic implementation of these departments aligns with a holistic approach to healthcare, covering both preventive and specialized medical services.

The expansion has augmented the total bed capacity of the hospital to 500, a noteworthy achievement that is expected to alleviate patient load, reduce waiting times, and elevate the overall quality of patient care. This milestone underscores the dedication of the administration to meet the rising demands for healthcare services in Rajouri and its surrounding areas.
