B2V-5 Programme in full swing at Anantnag; 177 panchayats covered in phase-Ist
ANANTNAG, NOVEMBER 11: The first round of phase five of Back to Village (B2V-5) programme concluded today in 177 panchayats at Anantnag.
The outreach programme witnessed huge public participation across all areas reflecting the success of the programme and high expectations of the people on the UT Govt. and District Administration in bringing a positive change for progress, development, and prosperity of the region.
The Visiting/ Prabhari Officers (VOs) on day 2nd along with supporting staff and field functionaries of the line departments listened to villagers participating in the Gram Sabhas and prepared the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) as per their wishes.
The Prabhari Officers also ensured the awareness and saturation of all the government schemes. They submitted the report of their visit, aspirations, and feedback of the people, in a designated portal and also shared a hard copy of the same in the district level cell created for the compilation of the data/ reports.
The VOs exhorted upon the penetration of online services in the rural population to expedite the public services delivery in a transparent manner. They also inspected various government institutions viz schools, Anganwadi Centres, Ration depots, Health institutions, Patwar khanas, Panchayat Ghars etc.
The VOs on the occasion visited the sites of ongoing and completed works under MGNREGA, Capex Budget, PMAY, SBM, and other such schemes.
Interaction meetings with the general public, especially youth, awareness on Self-Employment schemes, feedback on welfare schemes, services delivery, and the punctuality of officials in the villages was reviewed by the visiting officers.
The resource persons of various departments also educated the public about scores of welfare schemes and programmes being implemented in the district and motivated them to avail the benefits of the same. The mega outreach programmes in Anantnag under the unique initiative of the UT Government, is being supervised and managed by the District Administration Anantnag under the leadership of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, SF.Hamid.
Officers said that the B2V-5 Programme is aimed to involve the general public and government officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development in rural areas
