Second round of B2V-5 concludes in 39 Panchayats of Ganderbal District, 85 Panchayats covered in total

ADDC listens public issues at Panchayat Nagbal

GANDERBAL, November 11: The second round of Back to Village Phase -5 (B2V-5) concluded successfully today in 39 Panchayats of Ganderbal district.

The programme witnessed huge public participation across all 39 Panchayats reflecting the high expectations of the people in the District Administration in bringing a positive change for progress, development, and prosperity of the region.

Meanwhile, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani along with Chief Planning Officer, Irfan Giri participated in the B2V5 programme at Nagbal Panchayat. 

On the occasion, locals appreciated the district administration for its endeavors and apprised the ADDC of several issues of public importance.

Interacting with the locals, the ADDC appreciated the public participation and reiterated the commitment of the administration to empower the people of the district and engage them actively in policy making for their own development. 

The visiting officers (VOs) on day second, along with supporting staff and field functionaries of the line departments listened to villagers participating in the Gram Sabhas and prepared the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) as per their wishes.

Pertinently, B2V-5 programme has been completed in 85 Panchayats out of 126 Panchayats during two rounds of the programme of the district and other Panchayats will be covered in 3rd round which is commencing from 14 November.
