BJP committed to ensure empowerment of last person in society, says Slathia
SAMBA: Highlighting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that encapsulates the very essence of inclusive progress, Pradesh BJP Vice President and former minister Surjeet Singh Slathia today reiterated the commitment of reaching out to last person in the society for their empowerment and betterment across Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of region and religion.
“BJP is committed to uplift every individual, especially those who have been left behind by successive governments over the decades “,Slathia said while addressing the booth level Karykartas and the people of Wards 10,11,12,13 and 14 in the Samba Town under the party’s ‘Booth Jan Samvad” programme.
Slathia said the BJP understands its responsibility to extend helping hand to the last person in the society as per the Prime Minister’s cherished agenda of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwaas Sabka Prayas. For us the last person isn’t a matter of statics but the people with urges and expectations to be part of the country’s growth story as empowered citizens, politically and economically, he said, adding that the success in this regard can be measured on ground as the marginalised segments are enjoying the fruits of development and economic upliftment post August 5, 2019 landmark political developments. He said these sections have not been forgotten but brought under focused attention.
Referring to the path breaking initiatives taken in the recent years on economic, developmental and infrastructural fronts, Slathia said that youth empowerment is priority for the BJP. Apart from opening vistas of opportunities through employment and employability, policies are being devised to provide entrepreneurship and skill development openings, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the economy besides looking after their families. He said the BJP believes that Inclusive economic growth is not just a lofty ideal; it is a practical necessity for a sustainable and harmonious growth of the society.
“By reaching out to the last person, the BJP is strengthening and empowering the various segments of the society so that no one is left behind” Slathia said and exhorted the activists to reach out to the people and make them aware about various programs and schemes tailored for their upliftment. He hoped the people would continue to strengthen the hands of the Prime Minister by supporting the BJP in a big way.
