Weekly Block Diwas: DC Rajouri presides over Public Outreach Camp at Siot
RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 22: To address public concerns, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a highly impactful public outreach camp at Siot block under the weekly Block Diwas Program. The event served as a platform for a constructive dialogue between the public and their representatives, covering a spectrum of issues.
Discussions ranged from the pressing need for road renovations, up-gradation and adequate staffing of government institutions, addressing water scarcity, to bolstering healthcare infrastructure, among other crucial topics.
Government officers took advantage of this opportunity to inform the public about various schemes and programs aimed at improving the well-being of the community, encouraging active participation and utilization of available benefits.
Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the commitment of the district administration to delivering quality essential services directly to the people. He expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in achieving government objectives and urged them to continue their hard work for the common good.
During the public outreach camp, locals expressed appreciation for the commendable efforts of the administration in implementing schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission, recognizing the significant impact and positive changes brought about by these initiatives.
Promptly addressing concerns regarding the shortage of staff at veterinary centers raised during the event, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal directed concerned officers to implement effective measures to address the shortage of staff at Veterinary centers.
In response to the issue of sanctioning HSS at Siot, he assured that he would take up the matter with the concerned quarters. In a pivotal move towards infrastructure development, the Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officer to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the construction of a bridge from Bal Shama to Salheri.
DC affirmed the swift implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) across all eleven Panchayats in the Siot Block. He assured prompt resolution of issues concerning irrigation canals, emphasizing commitment to addressing community needs.
In a bid to uplift the living standards, the DC motivated the public to expedite the construction of their homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G). Simultaneously, he also highlighted the ongoing progress of the Mother and Child Care Hospital (MCH) in Lamberi, underscoring the priority given to healthcare infrastructure.
Turning attention to connectivity, the Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal updated on the full-scale advancement of various projects. The dedication to enhancing local infrastructure is evident, signaling positive prospects for the region.
