OSC Ganderbal organizes awareness camp at Anganwadi centres
GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 23: On the directions of District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, One Stop Centre (OSC) Ganderbal, implemented by the She Hope Society for Women Entrepreneurs (SHSFWE), Ganderbal today organized an awareness camp at several Aanganwadi centres in Halqa Theru of the district.
The event garnered significant participation and enthusiasm from Anganwadi workers, helpers, and beneficiaries towards the initiatives of the Sakhi club.
District Programme Officer, G R Wani played a key role in the awareness program, enlightening the participants about the pivotal role and responsibilities of the Sakhi club.
Approximately 60 individuals actively engaged in the camp, demonstrating a keen interest in the cause.
Advocate Malik Shugufta, the Centre Administrator of OSC Ganderbal took the opportunity to inform the participants about the various services offered at the OSC for distressed women.
She also highlighted the essential roles and responsibilities of Sakhi club members, emphasizing the crucial support they provide to women in need.
Overall, the event proved to be an informative and engaging platform, promoting awareness about the OSC’s services and the vital role played by the Sakhi club in the community.
