The official Twitter account of Jammu & Kashmir Traffic Police stated that traffic has not been released yet on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) road due to ongoing snow clearance work. Traffic will be allowed on this route once the green signal is received from BEACON authorities.
Commuters are urged to exercise caution while driving on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW, as road conditions may be slippery. They are also advised to avoid unnecessary travel on the Mughal Road until further notice.
